Can someone id this coral...it is in a friends 180...I have seen them before but I can't remember the name to save my life....:bigsmile:...It's the purple with green polyps in the middle of the pic....sorry the pic sucks.

I think it looks like a pavona maldivenes. Not sure about the spelling, but that is what it looks like to me.

+3 guess its a Hollywood stuner too, a better pic will help to ID.

Better pic. I am looking at the way it is encrusting in the crack behind it and the ridges on the edges to guess it is a pavona.
