It could be an emerald, they are part of the mithrax family. The best way to tell is the claw shape. The mithrax family have flat almost clipper like claws for eating algae without sharp points. I’d look at the claws and behavior to determine what it is.He does come out to feed during the day sometimes, not an emerald right?
Look up some pictures of mithrax crabs and compare the claws to yours. I wouldn’t worry unless your tank is underfed. These guys love algae wafers if you need to spot feed.Thank you for your response, I only added coral and must have come with it
