I bought this coral 3 months ago. As a new hobbyist I don’t know much about the type of coral. The LFS told me it is a zoa. My question : is it a zoa or palythoa? Is it toxic? What precautions should I take? Please check attached images for reference. Thank you in advance.

If you put them under stress they can excreate venom while handling, so you might want to put some goggles on as they can do eye damage!

Not all the pics look like palys. The middle pic for sure but the others have some regular zoes in the mix in my eyes.
They are the same frag. I thought it is zoa with long nake may be due to low light or type. It has two mixed color varieties.

Looks like some nice palys.

All potentially could contain palytoxin. If you use common sense and some precaution (gloves, eye protection) if fragging, cutting, or removing them then there is little to nothing to worry about.
