Okay! We have a new Zoa in the farm. They are Beautiful! However; hard to sell on our website if we don’t know the name. Any idea?

We have a few hundred frags of them😂 your more then welcome to buy them all! I think we are selling them for $15 for a full plug on our website; northstarcoral.com

I’ve seen what you have there from time to time. It bears a lot of traits in common with an After burner but it lacks the green mouth. Often times everything else gets called el corazon - to the point that name isn’t useful anymore. There’s also uc Black Rainbows (my profile pic) which is similar but has a well-defined median. Like your guys their skirt can rainbow but it’s not always a given.

All that to say there isn’t a readily available name for them. Is the center purple to the eye? How long have you been cooking them?

They are purpleish but splatted with that bright orange kinda like a ecosphere pattern! I think we are going to just make up a name for them! And start selling them! We have been growing them out for a few years now and bought a few Colony’s from a local reefer as well!

They are now northstar zoas! 😂

North Star zoas it is.

Fwiw, here’s a pic of original burning ember (adjacent to the el corazon/afterburner family).

The burning ember strain trading now has the bright orange and red, but lacks the purple center like these had - and like yours has. I might need to take a run at yours for fun.

You should have made up a new name and then charged $50 per polyp to all the suckers
