I got my first coral yesterday and put it into quarantine with some snails and a shrimp. I did the whole dip process and removed a few of these white dots and didn’t see any more. Today there are more on the base and I have no idea what they are. Can anyone help? Is it something to worry about?

Thank you!

Is it possible these are snail eggs? I added snails with the coral and had a snail that was perched on this frag this morning. If it is snail eggs, should i scrape them off?

It's not an issue, and no intervention is warranted.

Nerite Snails to be exact.

None will ever really grow up in the home aquarium.

They can be annoying as they can sometimes leave a little outline of the egg casing behind on the rock or glass unlike other eggs, but you can scrape those off

Thank you! I’m new to this and got nerite, trochus, and Nassarius snails but now I’m thinking i might bring the nerite back…. Seems like a pain
