Hey is this a gold torch I bought it as a gold torch at my lfs if not what type of torch is it

Agreed, definitely looks like a euphyllia cristata. Seems like people are just labeling them as "torches" to get on the hype train.
I've seen vendors here do that as well saying cristata is "technically" a torch. Crazy, euphyllia glabrescens and cristata look different.

Agreed. And they call them gold bc under heavy blue the stalk if the polyps are a Goldish color. But seems like that's the basic bland one gold base and purple tip.
