If your tank of near a closet/garage you can store everything there and even drill holes in the wall for auto water changes if you want. Eventually I’d like to have a set up like that

Yea, I'm 4-6 months out before the tank ships so that's on my list of to do's. But first I gotta figure out how to attach it. Thats my next post haha.

I think the IM APS stand can use some of the extruded aluminum fittings, if so, i'm considering making a hinged setup but idk. I dont want super expensive but I know once the tanks full of stuff I wont be abiut climbing around under there at all haha
That or can get 2 brute trash cans with them rollers and have 1 inside and one where rodi is then pump water in between for doing wc if you have to go up like small stairs from garage. Then just wheel over to tank
My thought process is fresh water, and salt water barrels down below. Tie my old reeflo pump(using it now) into the salt barrel and then I can pipe it up, and swap to hose to dump into my sump. Idk barrels on wheels seem like a nice idea too though. Less work to start out with as well. Then I can make a better mixing station later

I was considering drilling a small hole for the one line. I also have to figure out how i want to get a dedicated power circuit over to the tank. Luckily, i'm an electrician by trade so this is the easy part. I was wondering about this. I was planning on 6". The external overflow box is around 3.5" so i hope the extra 2.5" is enough to reach my arm in if needed
Unless you're a bodybuilder I think 6" is enough to reach in with your arm. I was thinking more like a foot of working space though.
Wisdom right there. I had my rock cycling for months before I set my tank up and it made all the difference. I’ll never not do it that way.
i would have done everything the same except gone with an eshopps 130 or 180 instead of the 100.
