Hey all,
Soon I'll be moving and as I have now had my tank up for a year I feel like it's reef ready. However since I will be moving what do you guys think? Should I hold off on getting any corals until I move? Should I get that yellow tang I've been eyeballing or should I avoid any more stocking and just stay minimalistic?
Currently have
Snails, hermit crabs, and 5 currently none larger than 4 inch fish in a 155g bowfront.

Thanks mates! You're knowledge has been priceless!

Sorry but arent you currently battling a terrible algae outbreak?
Haha yes indeed less terrible than anticipated. The cuc is quickly catching up after scrub and water change. My carpet blenny was in fact dead lost to the tank and times. I didn't get a rise in my parameters thanks to how quick the nutrients went into the algae. Found the cause. Water changes are looking golden and now thinking of adding. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Glad some elbow grease fixed the issue. Show us tomorrow!
The fish are happier and more active too. Also since I don't have any light happy corals now, I kept my 12 hour cycle (because I work a ton, but still want to see my fish), but I lowered the light intensity.

Plenty of people move there tanks corals, fish, and what have you successfully with planning. To answer you question, no I would go ahead and add corals and your tang.

That's what I wanted to hear lol also corals and fish grow so slow so i'm very very anxious. Any suggestions for online retailers as my LFS is a Petco 1 out of 5 of my fish from them has lived and that's a clown. All but 1 of my fish have lived from saltwaterfish.com so needless to say I don't buy from petco

Orbit 72in light bars

I used to run a 12hr light period with those light when I had them. I would run my white around 49% for 6 hour and blue at 100% for 8 hour with a two hour ram up and down.

Looks as though you are on the right track. by the way, the tank looks great.

One thing with a move, most toss the sand and start over again;)
