Hi,
thanks for your kind words...

very nice, how does your angles behave with sps and clams?
No problems yet...

May I ask what your lighting cycle is?

Blue light starts at 10:00
Full light starts at 11:00-> 12:00 = 100%
Full light until 19:00 -> dims to 0% at 20:00
Blue light from 20:00 - 23:30
Moonlight from 23:30-03:00

Thanks a lot, I will post more pictures today or tomorrow...

cheers

Love it... i look at your reef everyday...

Just looking at the center piece... If you dont mind can you name a list of corals you have on that middle rock... the blue one looks amazing...

Also, im looking on getting fast growing LPS coral... I already have a torch coral to start...

Thanks....

Hi there,
sorry for not reporting for a long time - that was related one of the first major problems that had with my tank.

About 6 weeks ago I broke the middle pillar at an unsuitable position. I could no longer secure it in position. So I decided to do a complete removal of the live rock in the middle and right part. Also I wanted to remove a big black sponge, which spread over the live rock.

I took the coral from the stones out and brushed it off to clean the stones of the sponge. Then I built the pillar up step by step again.

Here's the disaster picture:

Then my water values went up and down, so I lost some corals partially or completely. A high dose Nyos zero and Bacs had the effect that the parameters went in the normal range after 1-2 weeks.

Today, the tank is back quite good, although some corals have not yet recolored like before. Still, I'm glad for not having the tank completely lost.

The tank today:

I learned, that such a massive intervention in the biology enforce the system very strong and perhaps an attempt of fixing the pillar without total reconstruction would have been better.
Least the sponge is now completely gone.

At the weekend I upgrade one more Radion Pro. Not because of the power (I'm currently at only 65% max), but mainly because of the illumination. And because I think the lamps are so awesome;-)

So far the update

greetings
Sebastian

New video of my tank!

Hi all,
I made a new tank video of my 130g reef. The tank was set up around 2 years ago and I have had many ups and some downs.
I've made a little "history" clip which also shows the current status of the tank.

Feel free to give me feedback!
