IM 10 Gallon Nuvo UV Sterilizer

Hi guys,

i currently set up a 10 gallon nuvo as I’m downgrading from a 20 gallon nuvo. My question is, can i transfer my IM 9 Watt UV sterilizer to the nuvo 10. The problem I’m having is that i only have 3 chambers. First chamber is the caddy 3 tier rack, second is where my heater is currently at and the 3rd is the return pump. Has anyone ever occurred this issue before? If so, what did you do?

You would probably need to choose between the uv or media basket. If you use the uv sterilizer you can try to put media in a bag without the basket in the second or third chamber. Otherwise you can just use the basket and swap it out with the uv when the uv is needed.

Why downgrade to the 10 gallon? The Nuvo 20 is the perfect sized nano tank :)
