IM 15 Nano Cube

Just got water in this yesterday.

Total measured volume 11.5g.

All equipment for this system Is used, except for the tank and heater, that I have on hand and ato.
IM lid.
Sicci 0.5 return pump.
Jebao ow10 powerhead.
Radion gen 5 xr15.
Tunze ato, new, but had on hand as a backup for other systems.
5 gal ato bucket for now.
10×12 rack to keep the rock off the bottom, just like my old 18" nano cube build.

Running a Hygger 50watt heater, new. Tank is now 76 with room 70.

I will run ab+ @ 50% to start.

All live rock system. I will use a piece from one of my current systems and a few pieces from reef take downs at the LFS.

This will be a BB mixed reef of sorts with most corals being acros.

Was able to get 20lbs live rock from lfs. It has been in their system for over 3 months from a tank breakdown.
I will get another pic after it settles.
The marks are 3 gal intervals.
Approximately 10.5 gal total after rock.
Rocks are sitting on a 12×10 frag rack.

This will be a mostly acro tank like my old 18" cube.

Inverts yes. Fish maybe 1.
The inTank Filter cup came in. This is a must for me in a nano.
Still have to hook up the Tunze ato.
The Hygger 50 watt heater/temp submersible.

I added 20lbs of caribsea pink.

Around 9.5 gal total after rock and sand.

These from my other tanks
3 trocus snails
1 hermit
1 nassarius snail
1 Green slimer
1 plug of calcerous algae

That's a start for now.

I have sand in my 50 but it's not fine like this.
Should be fun to populate this mini.

Added a spiral monti, green leather, pom pom algae, wd, and a unknown frag.
Also glued a rainbow acan e to the back wall.

I added some algae barn pods around 10 days ago. I now have a tank full of pods.
Added a feather duster.
WD went back in the frag system until it encrusts.
Return and powerhead showing coralline now.
Tank is 1 month.

I see you’re running 2 tbs of rox. I was having a couple issues and mentioned in the thread I was running 4tbs in a 30g and got some recommendations that I was way over the amount I should be…. Thoughts?

I use more carbon because it's the only form of waste removal except small monthly WC's.
I ran 1 cup of rox in my old 20g aio 18" nano cube.
I did 2g's wc on the 20 once a month.

Added 2 peppermint shrimp, another feather duster, and a transparent cave goby today.
