There was just a water station. Then came the mini cube... and now today I am waiting for the delivery of my IM 150gal reef tank.

Hi everyone. I thought I would share my reef hobby build out as things are starting to ramp up. I had originally planned on receiving the 150 in Dec/Jan as the store said it takes about 6 months for the tank to ship. Well, I guess IM decided to build it faster. It arrives today. Hopefully I can start working on it in a few weeks. But in the mean time, I have my 15gal cube which is operating as a teaching lab for my youngest daughter who is super psyched! That is until the clean starts... :face-with-tongue: Questions on lighting, For the little tank any recommendation on a lighting schedule?

How’s it coming along?
Well, I lost a small daisy colony frag. Other than that everything is growing and appears happy.

Some new pictures of the reef at night. Swapped out my MP40s for 2 gyre Cloud 350 pumps. Flow is soooo much better! Made some adjustments to the rock work to better suit coral placements.

Looks great, I'll be following along! I have the same tank in my garage still in crate waiting to finish off our spare room.

Hello. I made some additional rock changes and added some additional corals and fish. I lost the emperor, orange fin tang, royal gramma, and both clowns to some sort of virus/disease. The fox face, purple fire fishes, and the diamond goby survived whatever sickness was in my tank.

I have added a powder brown tang, red mandarin and a bunch of frags

Here is the coral list
Red cap monti
Purple frog spawn (not doing so well right now)
LA Lakers Scroll
Nightmare Green Stag
Electric Lemonade Annacropora
Papaya Clove Polyps
Xenia
Purple Digitata
Forest Fire Digitata
Branching hammer (fragged form one of my hammers)
Bubble tip anemone
Galaxia
Alvepora
Three types of zoa
5 different gonipora
A maxima clam
Duncan
Purple tip Indo torch
And some others I can’t remember the name of.

Love the way it’s coming along!

I also added a RAIN 4 algae reactor water is super clean and clear now.
