Hi All,

I finally got started on my IM 20g Nuvo Concept peninsula drop-off build after a few weeks of procrastinating. But getting my hands on this tank was a huge ordeal. The first 2 tanks arrived cracked. BRS had to ship the tank 3 times, before UPS got it right.

Regardong the build - I didn't want to start from scratch with dry rock, so I took a rather large piece of seasoned pukani rock and half the sand from my well established biocube and added 2 unique pieces of purple life rock, and a little coarse aragointe.
All the dust has settled and now trying to decide which light would be best for the BTA's. I currently have a A80 which is serving as a temp light, but I am considering the Kessil A160, A360 or the AI Prime HD (which I already own all 3) or a Ai Prime 16HD, which I would have to buy. I love the shimmer and simplicity of the kessil and they are on all my tanks. But the prime seems like the way to go. My problem is that I hate the disco ball effect, and the diffuser, which is necessary, doesn't look good IMO. I can't seem to get over that.
I would be nice is the Kessil had a built in app with adjustable spectrums or the AI prime had nice shimmer under a single lenses. I dismt want to spend that much lm a 20g tank, but I may consider getting an A360x.

Which of the lights listed would you guys use for this BTA build?

Very cloudy water. The sand from the biocube was full of beneficial bacteria, but had broken down a lot over the years.

"Algae Reactor Mod" - I am a firm believer in refugiums to help with nutrient removal, and have them on all my tanks. However, there is not much room in the back chamber of the IM 20 peninsula drop-off. So, before buying the parts to make an Aqua Clear refugium mod to put on the back of the tank, I decided to try an algae reactor, using materials I already had laying around.

The algae reactor seems to be working....or helping. But now, I can't seem to get rid of the micro bubbles. You can see the micro bubbles accumulating in the reactor.
