$22 NPS Pico Tank Experiment — Let’s See If It Works!
Tank: 1.19 gallon Pico (T*mu special) – $20
Goal: Full NPS (Non-Photosynthetic) coral tank — running completely stock
Total so far: $22
Alright… this little $20 tank might’ve just unlocked a new level of addiction.

I’m officially attempting a fully stock NPS Pico tank — no upgrades, no fancy gear, literally running exactly as it came out of the box.
Stock Setup (No Mods):Light: 3W white LED
Filtration: Built-in pump w/ coarse sponge side
Water Movement: Surprisingly strong!
Volume: 1.19 gallons
That’s it. That’s the whole build.
If this works… it might be the cheapest NPS tank ever.

The Plan:Cycle the tank – and let that sponge become a bacteria hotel.
Seed it with pods – and wait until I visually see a thriving pod population.
Only THEN will I introduce the first NPS coral.
This tank will live or die by pod density & nutrient control. (JK I will feed also if I need)
Goal of the Experiment:Can a $22 pico tank from T*mu, run 100% stock, actually sustain an NPS coral long-term?
We're about to find out.

Whether it crashes or thrives… I’ll be documenting everything.
