How do you get good fish pictures? I'm horrible at getting pictures of fish

i use an extern lightning for my camera that i place above the tank so it gives an overall good light on the fish, then i also use Tv: Shutter Priority Mode, but not anything above 1/125

Awesome shots!

What camera did you use to get some amazing photos?
haha nothing special really, just a canon Eos 700D :) what makes the picture great is the light and objective, plus some time effort into lightroom :)

Awesome! Cant believe you got the six line that well focused!!
Yeah they are fast, but with some luck it's doable, the gramma tho was posing for the camera all day haha

Awesome pics. Love the Royal Gramma which has always been a favorite. Such an underrated, unappreciated "beginner" fish. The six line is another favorite which gets a bad rap as an overly aggressive other fish killer. Never had that problem and they make a great utility fish for munching pests. Being smaller maybe even better than a Melanurus.
