Guys Nice tanks many of you what is my benefit the Shallow Sand Bed vs Deep and how do I know what I want what have most of you guys used?

I used 100 lbs in my 90 gallon and I have about an inch and a half. I heard deeper sand beds, more than 2 inches are harder to maintain. Shallow sand beds easier. Just what I have heard and what I follow. That's what's great about this hobby there are millions of ways to do things and make things the way you want them.

You can do it for sure! This was my first shot at a reef tank and it's only 11 months old. Just stay on top of your water changes & water chemistry and you'll do fine !
