Alright well here's what I've got so far towards my aim of replicating what I had when I lived by the ocean. Should I wait till it's finished cycling to add the macro Algae? I used a bottle of fritz turbo start and added ammonia drops a week ago and it's down to 0.25 ammonia, nitrite 5 and nitrates 10.
I was thinking about Gracilaria Parvispora (ogo) or Gracilaria Hayi (pom pom) instead of chaeto because it looks nicer and maybe it won't like totally fill up the tank which is really small.
