IM EXT 50 - photo dump!

That does stink but it’s what I expected would happen. I really appreciate people like Daniel at Reefi who puts a 3 year warranty on his light if I’m remembering that correctly. I got two of the first gen 1 UNO’s off the boat so it’s been a while and my warranty has expired. But they never broke so I never had to deal with it. I’m only using one of them right now so I’ve got a backup. I really wish he would develop an app that dumb people like me could use, I’d never even think about another brand.
If I ever replace them I think I’m going with Quanta Bars and those have 2 years warranty. That gives some peace of mind plus they are much less expensive if replacement is needed.
Yeah, I knew they probably wouldn't replace it free of charge, but still....

I've heard good things about the quanta bars and the prices are a bit more reasonable compared to others for sure.

This was sold to me as a CR Daredevil. It has red polyps, blue and red body and green new growth. Very interesting. I this it needs more light, which it will get when my Straton X arrives

I hope the Straton X will ship soon... This Kessil 360x isn't cutting it.

I picked up a McCosker's Flasher wrasse and a geometric pygmy hawk over the weekend. The hawk is very reculsive so far. I haven't seen it come out and eat yet. I've read this species is very reclusive, so hopefully it will make more of an appearance. The McCosker's is eating very well, but is also very reclusive and looks pale/stressed. I am hoping this fish pulls through as it is one of my favorites. I am having a problem finding healthy flasher wrasse specimens locally.

I had an issue a couple of years ago with a juvenile McCosker's that hid all the time. It never assimilated and eventually passed. I hope yours makes it.

Thanks. It comes out to eat and then hides right away. No signs of labored breathing, torn fins, flashing. It just lays in the corner or under rocks. Not sure what is going on with it. It doesn't seem to have the wrasse disease as it is not showing a bent position - I had a wrasse do this in the past. It's colors change between normal to the stressed/sleeping colors. We will see what happens with it. The McCosker's is one of my favorite fish, so I am hoping it makes it. If not, I will try to source another.
