Need help with 3 Questions listed at bottom

I'm stuck on Ecotechs Vortechs AutoWave setup where you adjust Wave Frequency.

[It's the point where you have two light diodes centered and you can tap the Mode button or the Options button]

I assume adjusting these two buttons changes "something"

I assume repeated tapping on 'Mode' .... speeds up the frequency of the Pulse

And repeated tapping on 'Options' .... slows down the frequency of the Pulse

I've played around with the Mode vs Option buttons to try and find the sweetspot of my corals pulsing backnforth but it's very difficult finding it since adjusting this setting has no visual reference on the Controller.

Equipment;

I have a standard 72x24x24 6ft 180g tank.

I have two QuietDrive MP40s on opposite left/right walls about 5ins below the waterline and 5ins back from the front glass.

I've only been AutoWaving one pump, either the Left with the Right one OFF, or vice versa. Thru Apex I'm running the Left Automate for 6hrs while Right is OFF and vice versa

QUESTIONS

1)
Would I get more Wave Motion if I paired the two pumps? I wouldn't know how to do that, need help

2) Do I stick with using one pump while the other is off?

3) Help me understand how to get maximum waves, medium waves, low waves.

Thanks.... but so many questions still.

Can I pair a 2nd pump somehow to get bigger wave motion?

Where do you place the pump along the glass? 1/3rd high, 1/2 way down?

I guess every tank is different

For me and my 72x24x24 tank....

* i only use one pump at a time and switch backnforth every 6hrs.

* my pumps are 2.5in down from waterline and 3in back from front edge. One left wall the other right

* I've tried a million different position and the best wave I can get is a 1in wave in the position mentioned above and tweaking the wave frequency

* I don't know how some of these videos of users getting waves so intense that you can see and hear the waves slopping againt the glass. No one reveals their setup to achieve that
