I don't know if it's a zoa or some type of anemone. It must have came in on a frag plug or something because I started out with all dry rock and 2 pieces of lr. It's only a little larger than a BB right now but it has grown from when I first noticed it. I do have some greenish yellow zoas, but they don't look like this.

This was a slimy ball of snot on a piece of rubble.

It's a softball now.
Yours looks like these to me.
And yea. Hitchikers well hitchiker it was only one.

Doesn't look like a zoa. Might be anemone, or might be a cup coral, tubastrea coral. Poke it to see if it has a stony skeleton and go from there.

Never realized how much I would say and hear "ball of snot" when talking about reefing! Lol

lol, heck yea!!!!
I bought giant clove polyps, they are pretty much all gone:mad::mad::mad: but the 4 other corals and ball sponge that were on it are doing great!
