IM Nuvo back glass

Sooo I just upgraded my tank and got a 50 gal IM nuvo fusion pro 2. The tank is an AIO and I love it. I also purchased the cheato max 2-1 light which should mount vertically on the back of the tank. But do I need to do anything to the back of the tank to let the light through? Sorry if this is an obvious question or answer but I’m kinda stumped.

Yes, if the light mounts externally and the back panel is not clear, you’ll need to scrape off the black coating enough to allow the chaeto light to shine through.

If it’s correct and you do need to remove the back vinyl, scoring it with a very sharp blade first and it should just peel off exactly where you want it removed.
