I'm stumped... what worm is this?

Hard to tell from the pictures, but possibly a baby featherduster?

Kind of looks like a small medusa worm. Which is actually a cucumber...

Not a feather... it's squishy... and easily flattens out...

The tentacle ends are super clingy. Clung to my tweezers the minute it came into contact.

Sure would be great if it were a cuke.

On brighter side, this is gonna get tossed into my pest tank... so will be interesting to see what happens...unless my tiny trigger (in it for now to QT) winds up making it a snack....

Baby feather dusters that haven't made their tubes yet are squishy :) Its only after they anchor themselves to a rock or substrate that they make their tubes.

Regardless the item in your pictures may still not be one :)

The ends of the work are more like a tiger cuke.. Very barb-like and not feathery.

rofl -- i just released the "worms" into my pest tank...only to have to rescue them from the majano and gracilis anemones... they swam into the tentacles and was about to become snack... D'oh!

Right? A mini cuke was my first guess ...and hope.

I have 2 of these that hitch hiked on some frags... be interesting to see what comes out at the end.
