How can I verify that? I do see one spot on their website that all made to order tanks are eurobraced. How can I confirm the 100s are? (I also have a message into their customer service but haven't heard back)

is that what I'm seeing here on the seam lines?

Looks like the 100 isn't:

but the 112 is:

as well as the 150:

I'm not sure if depth from the wall is an issue, but having tanks that have depth is such a huge advantage - especially when viewing from the side. The 150EXT should still be cheaper than the waterbox.

The 100s are not eurobraced. Eurobrace only starts with the 112 and larger. Only Mariner has bottom eurobrace on all their tanks

all i can say, i feel you on the low storage space in the cabinet due to super large sumps being a downer.. i have a whole spreadsheet made comparing all these.. I also don't want one too tall overall, i saw a UNS 90R at LFS and that was too tall overall for me (58" on stand) since it sits next to my desk so i will be looking at it seated a bunch. A lot of back and forth with IM and WB offerings.. I did see one other one, but Nyos is german so maybe warranty stuff might be problem but the OPUS G2 440

External overflow but the pro-line stand is oversized such that it still goes into the stand (can also get slim line)
Aquarium dimensions: 49.2"L x 21.7"W x 20.9"H
Display Tank Volume: 100 Gallons
Pro-Line Cabinet Dimensions: 52.6"L x 25.8"W x 35.4"H
Sump Dimensions: 23.6"L x 20"W x 13.8"H

the 3rd door on cabinet is just storage like the redsea cabinets..

not that you need more options haha

Just to throw another one into the mix..
How about the maxspect aquariums.... solid aluminum stands. Stand construction looks similar to IM but more robust with side locking panels. think it has the reinforced/protected seams like the redsea tanks
dimensions 48x22x22

taiwan/korea manufacturer?

man I was ready to pull the trigger on a waterbox 110 this weekend but all the sudden today came across mulitple post of people complaining about the stands integrity and wobbleness. Might be back to the drawing board for me.

This maxspect is a beauty. Only downside I see is that everything is maxspect. I would like to add other companies equipments. Also that’s a European plug. Are these sold in the states?

Maybe worth calling up waterbox to ask what sort of aluminum extrusion profiles they use. If it's standard, buy some extra from alumninum suppliers and add to reinforce the stand?

If you're ok with the price of a WB, then definitely go CADE if you don't mind spending the money. I'd still go with IM, because of how much bang for the buck you get.

Saltwater aq and BRS carries them

the only equipment that comes with it is a skimmer and a return pump. keep the pump for UV or reactor pump or backup?

Maybe they are wobbly because they didn’t assemble them correctly. Honestly how can a stand be wobbly and tolerate that much weight. The first time it wobbles the entire thing would come crashing down. Something about all this is not adding up.

I went with a mariner 100. I love the quality of the tank and stand. Very nicely made. The measurements on the plumbing weren't perfect is the only quality issue I have had in that regard.
I only have one complaint and that is that it is loud.

The overflow is loud. And the water in the sump is loud. Had to buy the biocups they sell out of the gate to help some with the sump noise.

The overflow has been loud no matter what I have done. I run at a much lower flow rate on my return pump than I would like too. Much lower. And it helps, but still too loud for me. The overflow on the tank is the loudest part of my setup. I can’t hear my equipment over it.

This is good info. Thank you.

so that was my thought too, and you're the third person today to say that they probably built the stands poorly (the consumer, not WB)

The IM and Maxspect tanks are nice too, as others have pointed out. You can always go custom with glass cages as well.
I'll give them another look but last time I looked at glass cages the prices were like double+

Well looks like the early versions of the aluminum waterbox stands for the 4 feet long tanks are wobbly. That's all fixed now by additional reinforcements. See near bottom of the thread below about the reinforcements

I haven't finished reading this whole thread yet, but I wanted to add this tidbit - Last time I almost bought a Waterbox I contacted a LFS near me and had a chat. I didn't want the Waterbox cabinet nor sump as I wanted to DIY those to my own specs, and the LFS was seemingly able to accommodate as I got as far as a price quote. Obviously the LFS and brand want to sell the whole complete unit but it appears that they can do just parts.

Can’t recommend CADE highly enough. The tank is stunning and genius plumbing… the steel/glass stand is beautiful… the sump is perfect. It’s by far the best tank I’ve ever seen.
