Do you have a lid? They burrow in sand to sleep & have their own schedule to come out so you will need to just watch it

Like @sc50964 said, they do have their own schedule as they have come from an entire different part of the world. Often times new fish, especially wrasses, will hide for a few days after being added, there isn't much to do other than wait, check inside the overflow and sump incase he got in there.

i cant think

Even if it was super active when i added it yesterday?
Yep!
No matter how active they are when added, they could hide for a week or a month, sometimes longer.
