Okay so I have a green algae that continues to form on my glass that can only be removed via razor blade. Its new to me so I'm curious what is causing it. I just posted a ICP test on my build thread if you want to see those numbers. Any ideas? I could post a picture but it's literally just a green bullet proof algae lol

Ugh. I’ve got the same stuff. Doesn’t build up unless I miss 3-4 days with the mag float or where I can’t reach easily.

When it builds up I use the side of an acrylic frag rack to remove ;Dead

I have the same stuff and the combo of best/easiest cleaner has been the Tunze Strong w/razor blade. Hate the pricing on these scrapers as mentioned by Cell but it really does work great... just can't believe how much these things cost.

Not that it totally justifies the price, but magnets do really get really expensive as the size and power increases. Not too many ways around that one.
