Love a happy ending.Update... all within past 15 min: both unused red pipes unscrewed easily. Got a thin net down there and the little guy made the leap into the filter sock. Couldn't be any easier. Lol
This was a first for me. Going to try and rig a piece of acrylic to cover that space on the top of the overflow that he somehow managed to squeeze himself in. Interesting that had i not seen him in the overflow then who knows what i would've assumed... definitely not to look in that part of the sump. Don't want to go through that again.I had a Springer Damsel jump into my overflow a few years back. Was a b!?€# to get him out but eventually did by draining the overflow so that the height of the water was just enough for him to swim side to side but not swim up and down which made catching him a lot easier. Here’s hoping you’re able to get the little guy out.
