So as a Father's day present to myself, I bought this neon body, pink tipped Indo elegance coral. The LFS worker did warn me that they had elegance coral in their tanks before that survived long term but lost the bright colour in the body and turned a drab dark colour.

So I'm just wondering if anyone else has success with an elegance like this long term and did it lose the bright neon colour in the body?

Thanks.

Mine has been bright for 8 months. Maybe I’ve been lucky?

You’ll have to be ready to feed your elegance to provide it the long term nutritional needs. A reason as to why it lost its vibrance could be due to poor nutrition.

That makes perfect sense cause I don't think this LFS would have the time to spot feed all their corals.

Spot feeding shouldn't be a problem for me since I'm already spot feeding my RFAs.

Here’s my Elegance, it got mullered by my Angel but it’s now recovering nicely in my nano.

I’ve not had him long term, maybe around 6-7 months now as I got him in December. His growth has been insane though, when he was happy, this was his size fully extended;
