I have a Blastomussa Merletti I have had roughly 6 months now, transferred tanks one time in that period. It eats well, and puffs up every day
I am concerned about how stretched it appears to be, by the time I come home from work at the tail end of the full spectrum photo period it is almost wafer thin and very wide. This guy refuses to grow new heads just keeps getting more inflated over time. When I see pictures of this coral online the heads are smaller and more round and more plentiful. I supplement feed maybe once a week. Plan to start dosing the tank with Red Sea AB+ soon. Parameters below, reef crystals mixed to 35ppt with LFS RODI (I have my own unit in the mail). I do not know why my magnesium is so high, only things I dose are potassium nitrate or neophos occasionally if I notice a dip in levels
