Ok I don't have a pic right now but will get one tonight. I have a green chalice that almost everyday inflates. I know all chalices do. But this thing inflates to twice its size. When it is not inflated it is one of the chalices that is bumpy. When it is it inflated it is nice and smooth. You can see the flesh moving with the water flow. Best way I describe it is a scolly at night and a scolly during the day. That is how much it inflates. Anyone have an idea as to why this one chalices blows up like a balloon?

I would too actually! Sounds like just an extreme version of what all chalices do!

I had a chalice inflate and then two days later all the skin peeled off. How's yours doing?

yes PLEASE be careful. two of my chalices, one in my old tank and one in my current tank, started in a small area to actually "bubble" up during the day, and i don't mean puff up and look good, i mean like someone poked a pinhole in the chalice and blew air right between the flesh and skeleton. on the more recent, and much larger chalice, the area that was blown up was 75% of the chalice, and it didn't take even a week for the flesh to settle down, then completely peel the heck off. it was annoying, and i had asked questions regarding this as well, because i knew it was not ordinary.

jus keep an eye on it, and i'd probably say keep it away from flow as to not disturb the flesh more than it already is, unless the puffing up that you are describing is just your chalice acting super happy and healthy. i jus don't wanna see anythin bad happen with your piece thats all. best of luck, and please post pics when u can
