Inherited 2x Maxspect XF230 gyres w' controller - how to control with Apex?? Also how low can I mount my MP40s now?

Hey all. I managed to pickup 2x gyres with the controller to control both. They are in amazing condition. What I'm looking for is how I can control them with my Apex A3 Pro and once in control, what is the best way to program them. I've never had gyres before, but I plan to mount them near the top back sides of my 155g quarter cylinder corner tank. Assuming I should be running them anti-sync similar to how I do with my MP40s.

Speaking of the MP40s, I'm planning on moving them toward the front bowed glass on each side and moving them as far down as I can. How far down do you think I can go without creating sandstorms?

You can only control them through an outlet (on/off) as far as I'm aware (I have a set of XF330s).
