I adopted a few corals and a clownfish, from a guy sadly leaving the hobby. I put everything in the QT tank, and after a day (probably too soon, I know) acclimated the fish to my DT and released him. It must be the lighting, but I noticed a patch today that looks damaged. It was like that when I put him in there, I compared pictures of when I released him yesterday, to now. My question is can anyone tell if it is an injury, or looks like a fungus/parasite/disease? And what I could do to help him. My QT tank is full of the corals I'm working on - lots of hair algae, asterinas, and found one aiptasia. I dont have enough heaters/filters to set up another QT tank at this moment. I've got fresh saltwater mixing for a water change soon.
The area I'm concerned about is above his pectoral fin, at the top of the vertical black line.
36 gallons
Ph 8.0 (I'm trying to get it a little higher but it just doesnt go)
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 10 ish
SG is 1.026
