Just got this temp controller, on the app it says heating , is there a way to change it to cooling , because I wanna connect my fan to it instead of a heater ?

No, you would need the cooling/heating model.

Unless you didn’t need to heat the tank at all, then you could set the temp to a higher temp than you need, this would keep the fan on as the controller would never reach the set temp.but even then you might as well just use a regular power point as the controller wouldn’t be doing anything more than the wall power point.

Yah I don’t need to heat my tank at all for the moment , I got the controller as a present , so if I put T1 on 75.5 and T2 on a super high f like 90 , that should work , I want the fan to turn off at 75.5 and then turn on above that , would that work ?

pointless really as you can only have it coming on, not turning off if the tank got too cold. As the off setting would need to be higher than the on setting.

I personally would just have the fan on a smart plug and use it on a timer or even just use the controller to see the tank temp when you are not home then you could turn the fan on with the smart plug.

Bottom line you need the cooling model really.
