Anyone ever used the inkbird temp controller?

I’m looking into it because i have trouble cooling my aquarium with a fan i bought. I get temp swings due to me being at work or asleep with not being able to turn it on or off.

Has anyone ever used this product here and how did it work for you? Thanks.

I’ve been using one for the last month on a tub of live rock. Has been keeping a constant temp without issue.

I have 3 that I use and they are accurate for about 6 months and then read pretty far off. You can compensate with the +- calibration settings but I am looking into replacements for each. If your tank requires cooling, I would not trust these. Look at the aqua logic temperature controllers. Big price difference but a small investment when you consider what’s at stake.

It's cheap .... and I think you get what you pay for. Starts out fine, then drifts significantly. As noted, you can compensate with the calibration feature; but you need to keep an eye on it.
