Innovated marine sumps for ex50,75,100 - Filter Rollers

[Knyx]

I see there is a couple of builds with modified sumps for the IM tanks.
Ive been looking at the IM ex 50, 75 &100 size tanks. Just doing some research and what not at the moment
Is there filter rollers that fit the RFS23, 27 & 39 sumps? Or do they require some kind of modifications to get them installed what what not?
Thanks in advance

Hi Knyx, Innovative Marine lists the RFS23, RFS27 and RFS39 as accepting 4-inch filter socks: https://www.innovative-marine.com/nuvo-rfs-sump

Our N-Clear M fits standard 4-inch sock openings, so it's an option worth checking before planning a sump modification. The sock size alone doesn't confirm the whole installation—you also need a suitable holder, room for the filter below it and clear access above. We haven't confirmed those clearances for all three models.

Here's the M installation guide: https://naturedimensions.com/pages/n-clear-m-manual

Once you narrow down your sump choice, email [email protected] and we'll help check the fit before you order. If an adapter is needed, the information to send is shown in our adapter-request guide: https://naturedimensions.com/pages/n-clear-nano-manual#adapter-request

Hi Knyx, just following up to correct our previous reply: the N-Clear M fits directly into the original 4-inch filter-sock holders in the IM EX-series RFS sumps, including the RFS23, RFS27 and RFS39. No sump modification or additional adapter is needed.

You can keep the existing sock layout and install one filter in each opening. Sorry for the confusion! Here’s our M installation guide for reference.
