I just installed my innovative marine Helios 200 W last night. Have been constantly E5 and E6 error.

My tank is a 40 gallon aqua top Recife. I have the heaters in the return chamber and I have temperature probe in the skimmer chamber. Everything is fully submerged.

Has anyone had these issues? Any tips?

Thanks

Both codes refer to low water flow or not fully submerged.

Try putting the probes closer to the heaters.

The 2 100W elements are in the return chamber. Both are submerged. I just don’t know how I would increase flow around them. I thing the sensor is fine, I’ll try moving it to see if it helps.

Ok.
Did you power off the unit for a minute?
Sometimes, it can’t clear the code.

If the codes are correct, both heaters suggest and overheat situation.

I moved one to the skimmer compartment and one much lower in the return compartment closer to the pump intake. I think both should increase flow and keep them from overheating. Will

I have this happen periodically as well in an AIO set-up. There's no way to increase flow in the return chamber without turning up the return pump, which I don't want to do. Sometimes it happens in the middle of the night - the tank is in my bedroom. Needless to say, very unamused. I've just turned off the sound on it so it stops screaming at me whenever it feels like it.

The alarm hasn’t gone off since I changed positions. I’ll let you know if that changes in the next day or so.
