Then I would simply buy from @Joe Glass Cages -- assembled here in the US with US labor. I have no idea where the glass come from, but at least you know that the entire enterprise is US based, even if you may not have a choice in materials source.

You could, but you will pay a bit more than some of these tanks. A good friend of mine just acquired an 8 ft tank from a different large US manufacturer that wasn't cheap. My IM 170 has thicker glass than his 400 ish gallon tank.

Each person has the right to a preference. If you prefer a style, price, custom size, ect. There are pros and cons with each option. Me personally, I like the euro brace on IM. I would never own a red sea. That's just me.

No offense to anyone with a Red Sea but hearing the horror stories and Red Sea doing everything to take down comments I don’t know how anyone takes that chance. There are quality brands out there. Innovative marine, waterbox , cade, glass cages, nyos

just over 95% of our raw materials are sources in the USA. We fully fabricate raw glass, cut, drill and polish on site. Our thick tinted glass is imported from UAE. Not offered in the US.

FYI, we havent raised our prices and dont plan to.

These sure are crazy times though.

While yes they announced there prices went up due to tariffs. That should be for future tanks that they receive, not for ones they received pre-tariffs.

are these built over seas? because if made in America...there should be no tariffs.

Joe from glass Cages, how do you normally ship a 8Ft. Tank to a Customers home? I'm considering an upgrade before the end of the year.

great question. an 8ft tank would be on a 9ft pallet. largest pallet for a liftgate truck delivery would be 8ft. that means you would need a forklift at your residence to unload the 9ft pallet. You can also rend a U-Haul trailer and pick up at the shipping terminal.
