I am in the process of upgrading my 45g rimless to 75g rimless, redesigned from the floor up. I hated how the stock stands sat so low, so built this one to be 35" tall, and center beams are a pain in the butt, so also used magnetic placement holders for the front panel so whole front comes off for super easy access but looks like dual doors to the untrained eye.
Black coated custom light rails, allow truly free access and out of the way when need be as they do swivel.
Super low profile water proof led strip with remote for interior sump lighting.
Dual parallel algae scrubber with cheato down below. Lit with three waterproof led grow units, each scrubber is easily removed with quick disconnect.
I have in the garage dry pukani and shelf type rock from BRS awaiting to be sculptured then cured prior to going into display.
Upgraded pump, powered by a DCT 12000, will handle dual return, along with powering the algae scrubber as well.
A spot has been left open for a future purchase of a reefkeeper lite system. Took use of grommets to give it a nice clean look.
More pics to come once I have rock sculptured and when I bring the dual custom algae scrubber's online
Some eye candy
