This is my first time running a QT with copper. Can I use the same hose in both tanks for water changes?
In other words, if I drain my QT with copper can I still use that same hose to do water changes in my reef tank?
I would dry the hose off from the copper water so the traces of copper would be very small. This amount of cross contamination would be insignificant and not cause any issues to the reef tank, right?
