I’ve been considering macroalgae, but I’ve never tried it before and I don’t know how it would do in such a low nutrient environment. What are your water parameters like that it grows successfully?
Zero Nitrates, 360 Calc, 8.3 PH, 9 dKH, 1.023 Salinity and 76 degrees. It doesn't grow fast but it adds color and the critters do seem to enjoy playing in it. I added it because it supposed to help the Angler maintain color as well as nutrient export. Everything I've been told about predator fish is that they produce a large amount of waste so I wanted to ensure I didn't lose control of Nitrates. So far so good.
