So this weekend I picked up some new corals at the lfs. I specifically wanted this blue mushroom several heads where on the plug so I picked it up after 2 days in my tank I noticed some gsp at the tip but it looks like its held to that small spot with the mushrooms though. The small mushrooms have kinda wrapped around the "branch" and seem to be keeping it away from the larger heads. It looks cool, was unexpected, but I'm not sure if the gsp is gonna win out and takeover my rock work. Should I clip it now and save the possible headache or see what happens. Your guys thoughts.

Thank you crabs. I'll snip it. Kinda figured this would be the answer. I'll add the gsp to the back glass and see if it takes.
