Interesting tear drop shaped polyps on my torch

This dragon soul torch has been slowly changing and his evolved into this current look over the last few weeks. Yes, it is currently splitting and I've had other torches split but their polyps never looked quite like this. Clearly it's healthy but not sure what would cause this? Parameters are solid and everything in the tank is thriving. Just curious if anyone has seen this or has any insight. Thanks in advance

Very different looking and cool!
I have never seen one like that.
