Hey guys!
Planning my new tank, and hopefully not making the same mistakes from the actual one.
So, counting on everyone's vote and elaborated answers to take this decision.
I'm definitely implementing a Bean Animal overflow, but completely uncertain about the tipe of box.
I do want the silent and failsafe of the Bean Animal, but would appreciate the clean look. So, let's ear it people!

The internal center over flow is pretty easy to do. I like the idea of an external overflow (cost to coast or center) but it looks messy if you can see the back of the tank and it makes me nervous.
I can tighten a bulkhead without breaking the tank, but siliconing an external box and supporting it makes me cringe.

The only real good con of the internal overflow, is the robbed space in your tank. This becomes especially pronounced in tanks that are taller than they are wide. I wouldn't put one on a tank less than 18" in depth.

I don't know anything about corner overflows for a bean animal, but if it were me, I would lean towards a central or coast to coast overflow for that increased surface skimming(it's really fantastic!), as well as symmetry in the tank.

With the new synergy ghost overflow, you could do one in the center and lose very minimal space in the tank and have your bean animal set-up. Very nice overflows

I've been looking to those, but I'm from Portugal...the options on those kind of equipment is awful...that's why I'm probably going with custom built.

External all the way. Easier to install or maintain.much easier to hide and looks neater. Also doesn't make u lose tank space
