I have a 90 gallon reef ready internal overflow aquarium. For those of you with an internal overflow do you have a cover or lid on the top to keep the light out? If so where did you find one? Or maybe it is not necessary and I am overthinking it. But I bought the aquarium used and there was a ton of algae within the internal overflow.

I made one out of black foam board I got at Walmart craft section.
