I am posting this with a bit of trepidation. I am so frustrated with how international sellers, particularly those from Asia, avoid funding and offering meaningful customer support. I recently bought a DIY Bafffle Kit from Fiji Cube. The kit is sold as fitting an Aqueon 20 gallon long aquarium, which I also bought. When I went to install my first baffle, there is a 1/8” gap between the baffle and the aquarium wall. That is 1/16” on each side. This seemed like a lot to me. When I have made my own sumps, I have cut the acrylic to fit snug against the walls, thus making it easier to seal the baffle in place and to "quick-tack" in the correct spot with glue before I start the silicone sealing. Fiji Cube directions even say to do this. How do you “tack” a baffle to the glass when there is a 1/16” gap?

To make my main point: I wrote to Fiji Cube with this admittedly minor issue and asked for input. I have heard nothing back. I wrote again and said my current sump is slowly leaking and I need some assistance: “Please respond quickly if possible”. Nothing!!

How do companies in Europe and Asia stay in business, especially in the reefing business, when everything is so dang expensive, without getting back to customers within a short time, or better yet, actually having customer service, even by chat? I just don’t get it.
