It was listed on the Sneak Peak for posting later today. I put the over/under at $1500? Looks like the last mention of one was a year ago.

I’m hoping someone here can pick it up and I can live vicariously through their pictures of it.

DD is going to be making some collectors very happy today. In addition to the Interruptus Anglefish, they're also listing a Bluestripe Tamarin Wrasse. Both will fetch in excess of $1500, the Interruptus probably well in excess of that.

$4000. I sometimes wish I were still working. :)

Yikes thats pricey

It's only 2 inches. The smaller ones command a higher price, but you are seeing probably a 100% DD markup over what others would sell for.

I purchased one for 1,800 from a vendor that advertises here about 2 yrs ago. $4K to me would be awfully high. BUT if you can get it, GET IT

Wow, saw one locally last year at $2,000.

Interesting that they list them as difficult. Maybe just don't want beginners killing them and exercising the guarantee? Or just because of the lower temperatures needed? Mine is pretty hardy.

I may be biased (and would never spend $4k on a fish) but among the other rare ($$) fish out there, these and maybe the clarion are the best looking.

It is a nice looking fish - reminds me a lot of the Clarion but a lower entry price point for this one.

Difficult is probably due to colder waters thus the smaller, younger, commanding a higher price in theory because it may transition easier to warmer home tanks. Unless this is put in a species only tank and not so much the traditional reefs many keep here.

Surprised it is still listed.

That’s ridiculously, crazy to spend $4000 on one fish.
That’s nothing compared to the Clarion that sold yesterday for $15,000. I don’t see it on the site anymore so I assume it sold..

Pic was from yesterday, was Loling at the price with some locals.

Those are overinflated clarion prices on BZA (and an ugly photo). Even DD's overinflated prices on clarions are 3x less than that.

That’s delicious. I would buy 10 of those if they have all 10 in stock.
:D
