Oh No! That sucks :-( hopefully the black tang hasn't established his territory just yet and that the fighting is over and done with fairly soon. I was lucky that my other tangs are of more gentle dispositions so beyond the PT taking his cave back over, and some poofing near bedtime, there isn't too much to worry about now.

Maybe trap the black into an acclamation box? They could still see one another but can't hurt each other at the same time? Tough situation.... you're right. Strange creatures indeed lol

Lol... Well that is certainly good to hear. Such territorial little buggers! I had a chance at a gem tang for a very reasonable price, but I was so worried this PT would tear him to shreds that I didn't bother. I'd hate to spend that kind of money and have something bad happen to the fish, and I'd never have it in my heart to give the PT away. Interestingly, I've seen him picking on my baby blue throat. Hopefully that stops soon ...
