Hello Everyone,
Just signed up on R2R and received an email to intro myself so here goes:
I consider myself new to Saltwater. I started my tank May 27, 2019 after quitting the FW fish hobby (final straw was leeches being introduced to my brand new FW tank after deciding to start from scratch for the 3rd, hitchhiked from FW plants).
After tons of research decided to use dry rock instead of live rock so that I can pick and choose the critters I wanted in my tank (to avoid a repeat of the leeches incident). Fast forward to a little over a year later had said critters introduced anyway after I hired a professional saltwater tank cleaner to come over for some tips and tricks session with me on water changes, equipment setup, etc., and whom pushed some his coral on me. So much for a clean, fresh tank haha.
Anyhow hoping to start this new journey of identifying what all got introduced and I guess looking forward to it.
