Iodine dosage?

i have an infected scoly that got into a fight with other coral, and i want to dip it. I have lugol iodine. Does anyone here knows the proper dosage for something less than 1 gallons

just add drops until the water becomes a tea color. you can go darker, but just be mindful of the amount of time. i don't believe there to be negative effects from prolonged dipping. i also didn't leave things sitting in it overnight or anything. usually only ever 10 minutes at most.
