The setup instructions say it's ok to return the wastewater back to the aquarium if it doesn't affect your salinity or water levels. But what's in the reference solutions? Without knowing, it makes me nervous to put this in my tank.

These are two seawater fluids with different salinities and known and fixed parameters.
There is a little nitrate in reference B, but not enough to have an impact on the aquarium.

I have mine connected to my waste line.
