I’m ready to take some pics, using iPhone. I can get the heavy blue out even with a lot of white light. So will this kit help with the blue light?
Yes that is what the orange lens is made for, filtering out blue light.

One issue I'm having lately with my iPhone photos is that it started to compensate for the orange filter I put on - making the photos blue again. I do not understand it. There is some setting I changed that now negates the orange filter! This is nuts!

Also sometimes when I zoom in x3, I get great colors. Without moving from the spot, I zoom out to x1 and the color turns blue. Total nonsense. It thinks it's helping and it's doing the opposite. One reason I hate this smart technology sometimes. Stop helping me!!!

When you zoom past 1x it switches to a different lens and it views things different

Here’s a hack to fix the auto compensation for the filter, or to reset color correct. Zoom in and if color is bad, swipe left to switch from photo to portrait, then swipe right to switch back to photo

Here’s some 16pro pics no filter. I do have the lens kit mentioned above but I always forget to use it.

And yes, that’s a fighting conch with an anenome on its butt.

The phone swaps between lens as the focus and zoom changes. Are all the lenses covered by the filter?

I took these on my regular iPhone 17 with an orange and a yellow filter stacked, top down with a LensPort. No added electronic filters. I do have a really hard time getting things to focus when I take pics through the glass.

Yeah all 3 lenses are covered!

Weird… I have a 16 and it’ll hop between lenses, but doesn’t do any color correction. Wonder if that’s a setting? Mine doesn’t seem to have a setting like that. Has something called “night mode” but I assume that controls exposure.

Different lighting spectra require different white balance settings; however, the iPhone's automatic white balance performs poorly in a saltwater aquarium environment, and Apple does not grant users manual control over white balance.

Therefore, it is necessary to use filters and third-party camera apps (e.g., ProCamera) to manually adjust the white balance in order to capture ideal photos and videos.

When switching between different iPhone lenses, the white balance adjusts accordingly; consequently, during video recording, one can often observe a significant shift in color when the camera automatically switches lenses at certain shooting distances. To avoid this issue, it is necessary to use a third-party app to manually set the white balance.
